Directions
If travelling on M4 leave at Junction 42 onto the A 483, (if any other road in Swansea aim for the Sea Front 'Gower, South Gower & Mumbles' - this will bring you onto the A4067 - see 2nd Paragraph) this will take you on the main route to Swansea, running past the Ford Works on your RH Side.  Keep on this road,  past the Docks entrance, over the River Tawe,  passing a large Sainsbury's Store on the LH Side.  (Significant Road Signs are : Gower, South Gower, Mumbles & Bishopston) You will pass through a series of Traffic Lights,   then  by a Leisure Centre on the LH Side & a Tesco Store on the Right.  Straight on past  the Prison on the Right & a large Office Block on your Left (County Hall by the Sea).   You will then pass under an ex LNWR Wrought Iron Bridge (currently, 2004, dismantled with only the stone piers there), through Traffic Lights and continue on,  passing the Cricket & Football Ground on the Right.

You are now on the A 4067 (see Map above) (Road Signs  are Gower, South Gower, Mumbles & Bishopston).  Pass through two sets of Traffic Lights, first to the University and second to Singleton Hospital, keep straight on.  The next significant landmark is a Shell Petrol Station on the RH Side. Move over into the OUTSIDE Lane,  pass by  'The Woodman' Inn on the Right,  coming up on your Left is a Texaco Petrol Station, prepare to turn RIGHT onto B4436,   there are Part Time Traffic Lights and turning is a Sharp Right.

You are now on a rising hill which will take you out onto Clyne Common,   keep straight on,  passing Craig y Nos School on the left,  pass a  Petrol Station on the Right and commence to run down hill,  half way down the slope the second Left is a Sharp Left Hand turn - take this (see Map marked 'Turn Here').  You are now in Bishopston Village, carry straight on,   past the Bishopston Comp. School entrance,  past the Small Spa SuperMarket Store and some 100 yards on you will see, on the Right, a Grey Stone Building,  with a Car Park on the Left Hand Side of that building.  This is'Holt Model Railways' where Scalextric Model Cars form part of the Company
